Pet Staycation Club (ABN 80 348 136 262) takes looking after your information as seriously as looking after your pets. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through this website, we collect:
- your name, email address, phone number and suburb or postcode
- your preferred stay dates
- details about your pets, including their names, breeds, any additional care needs and anything else you tell us about them
- any photos of your pets you choose to upload
If you go ahead with a booking, we may also ask for things like your home address, how to get in, emergency contacts and your vet's details. We only ask for what we need to look after your pet and your home.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- reply to your enquiry and send you a personalised quote
- arrange a meet and greet
- look after your pet and your home during the stay
- send you photos and updates while you're away
- keep basic records of bookings
We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask me to.
Where it's stored
Enquiries sent through this website go to our Google account. The details are saved in Google Sheets, sent to me by email through Gmail, and any pet photos you upload are saved in Google Drive. This website is hosted by Framer. Google and Framer may store information on servers outside Australia.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with anyone except:
- the service providers above, which help us run the website and our enquiries
- your vet or emergency contact, if your pet needs urgent care during a stay
- anyone we're required to share it with by law
Photos of your pet
We'll send you photos during the stay. We only share photos of your pet on this website or social media with your permission.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand how people find and use this website. It tells us things like which pages are visited, how long people stay, roughly where visitors are and what device and browser they're using. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. The information is collected and stored by Google, which may process it outside Australia, and we only see it as summary reports. We use it to understand and improve the website, not to identify you.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can read more about how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Framer, which hosts this website, may also collect basic, anonymous information about how the site is used to help keep it running well. Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers.
Keeping it safe and how long we keep it
We keep your information in password-protected accounts and only for as long as we need it for enquiries, bookings and our records. If you'd like us to delete your details, just ask.
Your choices
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it or have it deleted at any time. Email me at petstaycationclub@gmail.com and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
